Glossary of Buddhist Terms

Books

Available through the link below is a glossary of Buddhist terms that will assist in clarifying and deepening one's understanding of Buddhist teachings and terminology.

The glossary offers Pali, Sanskrit, Tibetan, Japanese, and Chinese Buddhist terms from the Hinayana (Theravada), Tibetan, Zen, and Shin Buddhist traditions.

While the glossary is by no means an exhaustive work, it offers explanations for a wide variety of Buddhist terms which can be beneficial for deepening one's understanding of the Buddhist path to liberation.
